Reckless Tour Sat. Feb 7th, 2009
The Band known as D*Centt worked their voodoo Bushwick Ghetto Metal Magic on an amazed Purchase College audience. Second to last before the headlining band Game Rebellion, who isn't a slouch by any stretch of the imagination.
D*Centt was a very tough act to follow, with a blazing set featuring new bangers and classic gems. Understanding the importance of Black History Month, they played a special tribute for Notorious' (Ten Crack Commandments). It was an intament show with an audience of about 75 people, which
didn't include the great bands that hit the stage prior. Yet, D*Centt still lifted the energy of the show to amazing levels, and honestly it felt like you were looking at the future of Rock & Hip Hop fused together like no other before. The passion and moving lyrics of the lead singer Hangman had the audience in awh. Especially with the songs "From Inside" and "Waste of Time".
